FAQs

What ages do you work with?

1

I primarily work with elementary-aged students, typically ages 5–11, and I am beginning to expand support into middle school ages as well.

My coaching is individualized and developmentally tailored to each child’s needs.

2

I work with children who may be experiencing challenges with:

  • executive functioning

  • organization

  • planning

  • time management

  • task initiation

  • homework routines

  • emotional regulation

  • flexible thinking

  • social thinking

  • perspective taking

  • confidence and school-related anxiety

I frequently support students with ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, learning differences, and neurodiverse profiles.

What is executive functioning coaching?

3

Executive functioning coaching helps children build the “thinking skills” needed to manage daily demands at home, school, and in social settings.

These skills include:

  • planning ahead

  • staying organized

  • managing time

  • starting and finishing tasks

  • using checklists and routines

  • problem-solving

  • emotional self-regulation

  • flexible thinking

The goal is to help children become more independent, confident, and successful in everyday life.

Do you work directly with parents?

4

Yes — parent collaboration is a core part of my work.

Especially for younger children, skills transfer best when parents understand the strategies being taught and can reinforce them at home.

I often provide:

  • parent coaching sessions

  • home routines and supports

  • follow-up strategies

  • communication around session goals and progress

Do you collaborate with schools and teachers?

5

Yes.

I frequently collaborate with classroom teachers, school support staff, and outside providers to help ensure consistency across environments.

This may include:

  • teacher meetings

  • classroom observations

  • strategy recommendations

  • school communication support

  • classroom-based interventions

Do you provide IEP support?

6

Yes.

With over 15 years of classroom and special education experience, I support families with:

  • IEP review

  • meeting preparation

  • accommodation recommendations

  • advocacy support

  • attending school meetings

Are sessions in person or virtual?

7

I offer both in-person sessions in Hoboken, NJ and virtual coaching options, depending on the child’s needs and what works best for the family.

How long are sessions?

8

Most student coaching sessions are 60 minutes.

I also offer 30-minute parent coaching or consultation sessions when appropriate.

How do we get started?

9

The first step is scheduling an initial consultation.

This allows us to discuss your child’s needs, goals, and determine the best coaching plan moving forward.
